St George's Choir practices regularly in Fridays at 7 p.m. under the leadership of Evelyn Kingman, the organist who has faithfully served St George's for many years. Four-part singing is demanding. It is also fun, and the choir enjoys its work and its fellowship.
If you enjoy singing, even if you don't have much experience, you will be warmly welcomed on a Friday evening. There is no audition to pass, and you do not have to be able to read music; being keen and willing to "sing to the Lord a new song" are more important. Tenors and basses are particularly welcome.
