Benefice Prayer Group
The Benefice Prayer Group was started 62 years ago in 1956 by three clergy widows from the parish.
It meets every Friday morning at 10.30am. From Easter to the autumn we meet in the Hardy Chapel at St. Peter’s and during the winter months we meet in the Fellowship of Meditation’s Marion Dunlop House, 8 Prince of Wales Road.
This small and dedicated group from various churches in Dorchester and District meet faithfully every Friday to pray for the needs of the world and of the parish. The prayers from the Prayer request book at the back of St. Peter’s are prayed each week, also the sick, the deceased and those whose years mind falls that week.
New members would be very welcome at this small and friendly group.
