The Benefice Prayer Group was started 62 years ago in 1956 by three clergy widows from the parish.
We currently have 5 LPAs at St Peter’s who regularly take communion out to the sick and do pastoral visiting.
St Peter's Church has eight bells, the tenor weighing about 18 cwt. They are rung for morning service on Sundays usually from 9:45 to 10:25, and for various festivals.
St. Peter’s Church Choir, which numbers about two dozen members, has a large repertoire and sings sacred music from the renaissance period to the modern day.
10:45am, first Thursday of every month.
An hour to keep the church clean and tidy.
